Back from the foosball competition at ACS and I enjoyed every part of the night.

The kids there were screaming like there's no tomorrow whenever a ball gets in. It's something that you will not get from an adult. It made me feel like a child again - not hiding any emotions and expressing it freely without any worries.

Ah, the joys of being a child.

In the blink of an eye, I've been in Foosball for 2 years already. There were times that I am feeling depressed in the IG, mainly because I'm the only year 2. The year 3s and year 1s have their own clique but I am on my own. There were many times that I feel the loneliness. That explains the my on and off presence in the IG.

In another 2 weeks time the year 3s will be graduating. It seem like it was only yesterday that I was introduced to Foosball by Ginny. I still remembered that the first tornado table I've touched was the one in Tanglin. It was then that Foosball became a interest, of rather a passion for me.

I've become so used to seeing the year 3s most of the time at the Foosball table that I have no idea what to do when they leave. Although not very very close to them, there's still a bond with them. It made me reluctant to admit that they are going to leave soon.

I've faced at least 3 seperations these years, and I am going to face another one again soon. This is too much for me to handle and I might breakdown anytime.

I just hope that the seniors would still come back for Foos after graduation. And perhaps still meet up as Ginny says. But I know it's going to be difficult since everyone is going to take a different path in life.

Anyway, on a much happier note, RP won the competition today. Grats to all who participated.

Countless of hormones were released from my adrenal glands. I feel the surge now.

Xu Wei Lun died today.

I did felt sad, not only because she's pretty, but also because she's just 28. She could still have a great life ahead of her.

It triggered a lot of thinking in me. You would never when death comes to a person.

- You might be fine today, talking about your career prospects or what the future holds for you, then death comes to you the next day.

- You might be happily thinking about how to spend your day or where to have dinner tomorrow, then things happen.

Most of the time it's too sudden for us to handle, or even adapt to it. Unfortunately, you have to face the fact no matter what.

What I am trying to say here is - cherish the people around you, cherish your family, cherish your friends. Do so before you don't have the chance to. Many a times there's no chance for mistakes and by the time you've realised it, it's already too late. Please don't learn it the hard way.

It also makes me wonder that whether it's really a good thing not to know when are you leaving. If you had known it, would you spend your time more wisely?

Maybe if we have known we will learn to cherish the people around us.

Today, I did something for the first time.

Blood Donation

I showed the "Be Nice To Me, It's My First Time" sticker to every staff who came near me. Haha.

Initially, I thought that it was going to be painful, but after much assurances from some friends, I decided to overcome my own psychological barrier. I went down with Valen/Gina for the donation.

After a series of tests, I laid on the chair, waiting for my turn. Then I was rejected. The staff who was attending to me said that I had soft veins due to the lack of exercise. I was baffled, anyone who knows me good enough will know why that's not possible.

Then after one hour, another staff agreed to check my veins for me again. I passed and it all began. It lasted for a short 20 minutes or so.

It's not that scary as I've thought earlier after all, and what's good was the satisfaction after it.

To that certain someone,

I saw your post dated 15 November 2006 today.

You weren't the only one that I gave cold replies to. I had stated it long ago that I wouldn't initiate conversations with each and everyone of you. I haven't do so till now, if you were to ask them.

If you ask me, I did not, and will not regret my decision. There weren't much for me to hold on. There's a reason for everything to happen. I guess that reason is clear to you.

You were the same good listener, crapping buddy and someone that I could place my trust on. But sadly it wasn't meant to be for forever. Nothing is forever, and forever is nothing. Anything that can be for forever ain't worth cherishing.

I've gotten over it. I am used to being alone and I don't hate being alone now. It's something a lot of people cannot overcome. I did it, but as a result, lost someone that I can confide in. That's a loss, a great loss for me.

'but i can tell u we wont lah' - I am not a man who break my promises easily. It's the accumulation of small problems, which led to bigger problems, that don't allow me to fulfill what I've said to you.

I've changed, and I have lesser worries now. At least nothing from my current group of friends. I have learnt that the more you expect from your friends, the one you'll get disappointed. That is why I don't expect much from friends now.

To get the friendship that we used to have, means to start from scratch. However the memories will be accumulative. The upper peirce reservoir walk, the 2 prata house breakfast before the walk, the exchanging of slippers, the walking with 2 sticks for the monkey challenge, the booking of cab out, the sighting of crocodiles, the lying under the tree with the breath taking view. I never once forgotten any of it. I could easily list all out.

I don't hope to end, just to build up again. But it's not going to be easy, and it cannot be one sided. It's up to you to decide.

I might initiate, but that will not happen until I have my current opinions about friendship changed. Until then, the fact remains, I will not initiate.

- It takes one hour to stroll from Bishan Junction 8 to home

- Observing the kids in the neighbourhood can lift my mood

- It is nice spending the half of your day in the library quietly

I fired my first gun with live rounds last saturday at the National Shooting Centre. The objective was simple - get ready, aim and shoot a flying disc.

The place was ok, the surroundings were all greens. What's not ok was the temperature. I had to stay under the sun for near 3 hours. Luckily I took shelter under the huge huge trees.

The shooting session was very very fun. But I probably had only 30% hit-on rates haha! Damn.

The orange plates in the picture were the flying ceramic disc, only a palm-size big.

The whole 3 hour session was $44 per person. I expected more. Anyway the shotguns brought by the instructor cost a whopping 4K each hor.

I suffered a bruised right shoulder after the session. But in my opinion, it's still worth going. It's something that you must try at least once. Get the experience mah.

I suddenly realised how my way of handling problems can simplify it so easily.

Some people just think and think about what actually happened when a problem arises. They then seek ways to solve them. They won't be satisfied unless they do so.

Sometimes, all that is needed for us to do is not to think. It often complicates more than it helps. No one is born happy, it's only depend how we look at things. I had my miserable moments too, who doesn't? And my method - let it go.

Don't think about what happened in the past, because it doesn't help at all. Think about the present instead, think about what is important right now.

Once the decision is made, nothing much can make me regret. Of course the decision was made after much serious thoughts that is.

Chuck the past away. For what's worth for you to keep will not become the past.

Another year had gone by.

A lot of stuffs happened. I had alot of memories, some of which good, some of which bad. I guess the good ones outweigh the bad ones by alot. I am quite glad that I didn't really wasted my one year.

The main things I wanna do for the next year would be:

Spending more time with my family - Kinship is more important than anything. I don't want to take them for granted anymore.

Make sure my studies get better - I don't want to get bad grades nonono. Don't want to have regrets.

Control my temper - Wanna handle my emotions better.

Be a smart finance manager - Ability to differentiate between needs and wants.

Go for anything I want without qualms - I don't wanna lose opportunities again.

A person changes when the environment changes.

It's not about holding on to promises firmly for the entire lifetime. It is about whether or not these promises are worth holding on to.

Yes, it was a shock for those who read. But look at it from my point of view, if I did not do this, do you think things will change? Think about it, it changed immediately after the incident. What does it shows? It shows that people attempt to do things only after undesirable things happened, am I not wrong?

Since last january, I had already know that 'forever' doesn't exist. This was reinforced by incidents during the 12 months I had in the polytechnic. Knowing it now isn't too late. There's a long long way for all of you in life, still.

It took me the whole 3 days to ponder about this, whether I had made a wrong decision. If I can sacrifice the bonds to make sure such things don't happen again next time for each and everyone, I believe that I had made a right choice.

And I got shit like watching the situation and understanding everything from people. I don't buy that, that's the most irresponsible thing to say in times of trouble. Even an IG president. who knows about himself being too engross in his IG and neglecting his friends, starting chatting with friends in hopes of getting the bonds back. I don't see why people cannot chat in 3 whole consecutive days stating busy reasons. If studies and CCAs outweigh friendship, I don't see the need to continue the unimportant tie.

My body language might be hurtful, intentionally or not.

People who know me well should know that once my decision is fixed, I will be determined to go with that route. How I look at friendship, is the way how I look at 'trust'. If it's gone, no amount of effort can make it like how it was, again.

I am dedicating this entry to the only one person. I have nothing against you in this incident. I am looking at this as a group thing. Not individuals. If everyone made mistakes in this, you made the least. You will not have make that comment on your blog if you realised who's responsible for outings and movies dates. I did took intitative and was perhaps the one who often did. No one was appreciative. If there was, ALL of you would initiate, not just the usual one or two.

Take this as something I want you to learn. Take it as an experience. Make sure you don't do the same next time. I had these shits before, I don't want others to get it too.

And the fact that I can tell you all these after this matter, you should know how unaffected the bonds are still between us. You understand?

Things can still remain the same between us after this, if you want it to. It won't be me intiating, and will be long before I start to initiate again. Then again, the choice is yours. What I had said applies to only you, no one else.

Sweet day.

School's fun with the usual classmates and foosball peeps. Ut's fine too. Could understand all the questions posed, which is a good thing for me.

After that was the one hour journey from Woodlands to home. Perfect moment for me to think about stuffs, alone. Somehow it feels good to be alone where you won't get any disturbance.

What's more is that tommorrow is Wednesday. I can jolly well spend my day watching my serial.

I just happened to weblog hop and I realised something that I wouldn't want to. Some people move on very easily. They adapt to the new environment and stick with them. This is perhaps what I called fickle. Anyway, different people have different personality. I cannot expect them to change eh?

Maybe I should just move on too. Cause it's so hard taking initiative every now and then when others aren't making effort.

Sometimes, friends ain't just about saying 'hi' when we walk pass each other. It also not about saying 'take care' and then carry on with each other's life. It's about being together, sharing moments together and making the day a fun filled one.

I don't believe that a simple 'take care' or a forwarded sms can make someone's day. I could easily send tons of message to all my friends out there. But I chose not to, simply because it's pointless.

Friends are one of the few top priorities in my life. I had learnt today that our priorities in life change when we get older. How I wish this weren't true, because I can't bear to watch close friends heading their own seperate ways, seeking different path in life. But sad to say such changes are inevitable in life.

I won't try to change this cruel fact, nor am I going to do anything to make sure this doesn't happens because the effort of one man cannot change anything.

It just simply takes a little effort from everyone to change this fact. However, people are not putting in the slightest effort into it.

Basically, there are 2 types behaviour which I detest :

If you all are wondering why I am blogging so less often than I do last time, it's because I have been visting the doctor once every 3 days since a month ago to recieve frequent checkups for my eyes. I mentioned to some that my eyes hurts whenever I moved my head, and that was quite some time ago. Apparantly the simple eye problem is not as simple as it seems.

In regard to that problem, the doctor says that my blood vessels near the eyes are throbbing, in other words, swollen. It's probably due to the excessive use of the computer. I thought is was ok and will be fine after some medication. He thought so too, but suggest that I do an eye scan to really check out what's happening in there.

The results were out yesterday and I was told to collect the results asap at the clinic.

I contracted a disease called Glaucoma, which also means High Eye Pressure. It's caused by huge pressure to the eyes that damages the eye nerves. Although there are many causes to the disease, but I firmly believe that the sole reason why this happens is the usage of the computer for more than 15 hours per day. I was told that the disease's already in the late stages and there's only 15 percent of recovering fully.

18 and getting this disease that might most probably lead to blindness if the pressure's not stopping. I can't face computers for the rest of my life. Am really afraid now. What if I suddenly go blind?

The doctor said that the only cure right now is to make full use of the holidays to rest my eyes. Further pressure to my eyes will lead to even severe damage to the optic nerves and will result in undesirable consequences. I can only watch my fate now.

Ok, I'll stop here for now. I don't know what's going to happen for the next few hours if I am going to use the computer and I certainly don't want to know. I shall not update for a long period of time. Hope all of you understand.

Well well, haven't been updating since Nov 10. Paisei ah, cause of my intensive gaming sessions every night mah.

Went shopping with Kin and Bengy today. Bengy wanted to buy a slip on hoodie ( did i spelt that correctly? ). Went to Far East first, found some hoodies in a shop in Far East priced at 160++. Off budget!

We headed for Pacific Plaza looking for hoodies at Rip Curl and Fox. We then went to Wisma and finally Hereen. But nothing caught our dear Bengy eyes.

Saw some shirts, shoes and handbags that we fancy. Bengy and I were like tempting Kin to spend. She resisted. But our Dec shopping still on ok Kin? =D

Headed for pool at Cine after that. Kin looked dead serious when pooling I tell you. Armed with a cue, our lady warrior ready to kill anyone that gets into her way. Lol.

Finished pooling at 615 and headed for Chinatown to meet bro for 'Sarawak Kolo Mee'. Some famous mee somewhere in Sarawak. 5 bucks for a bowl of what seemingly tasted like Wanton mee. Omg.

Had a cup of 'Ultimate Ice Blended' - courtesy from my bro.

And here I am slacking in my Mum's studio till midnight. Yawns. Won't be home till 2 i guess.

Awesome ponning today with Christine, Shikin, Lionel.

But this pon cause me 15 bucks. Booked a cab in the morning as I was freaking late and not a cab in sight. Ok, 6.40 gone first. It snowballed to 15 with the ERP charges and stupid slow traffic.

Reached- sat down - decided to pon. Wtf?

Ok, anyways NO, not billiard and pool. Absolutely no.

First stop, RP Library as usual. Headed there for the Xbox. Had so much fun and laughter till the librarian had to come up and tell us to soften down. So paisei!

After 2 hours of intense gaming, we headed down to Bugis. Had lunch there after praying. And movies after that. Before the movie, we shopped around Bugis looking for clothes and such. All were resisting the temptations of buying clothes.

We also went to try out some of the accessories in Topshop,

Watch 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'. All had different views about the show. Some of us felt that it's ok, some felt that it's boring but I find it nice.

Ok, after BV, we went to Ice Monster at 'The Bencoolen'. I was quite surprised none of them heard of the place before. But I know the reason for that - they don't go for food fair, I do. That explains my size.

Order the mango and mix fruit dessert which I am too lazy to type. Super super long name for those desserts. Our mango dessert looked like this,

Sometimes I wonder, is it really that hard for friends to gather and meet up once in a while?

Is it really so hard?

If all of us were to make an effort to meet, there will always be time to do so. But the problem now is nobody want to make a slightest effort to make these gatherings happen.

Some are busy with their new friends, some are busy working and some just don't want to meet.

I just realised 3 things:

1) That new friends are more impt than older ones.
2) That money is far more impt than friends.
3) That friends can be taken for granted.

Friendship are important? Blah, fark it. Friends are just some asses whom we met in our life and to be ignored when we don't farking need them.

Sad to say, the closer friends around me are like this.

Let me ask all of those out there : Is working really that important? That important till it cannot be postponed?

Money can buy you friends, alot of them. But they can never never buy you a sincere friend. Some of us neglected our other friends because of certain reasons unknowingly. But that's not an excuse.

To be frank, I am directing this blog to certain friends of mine. I don't mind saying this out. Because I am just merely stating the truth. Consider me as a failure for having such friends, I won't bother.

My perception of friendship will change from this very moment.
